Abby Bane Thexton FDN-P, CFNC, CPT

Hi, I’m Abby! I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where I earned my bachelor’s in Exercise Science. I am a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Functional Nutrition Counselor and Board Certified Holistic Health Coach. After struggling with anxiety/depression, hormonal and gastrointestinal issues, I realized that all my symptoms were connected. Through diet and lifestyle change, meditation and exercise, I became a completely different person.

When I’m not working with clients, I love playing volleyball and soccer, paddle boarding, practicing yoga, hiking and traveling.

Like so many people, I have struggled with symptoms that have impacted my life on a daily basis. I’ve had doctors tell me “it’s in my head” and prescribe a medication that only exacerbated my symptoms. After deciding to take my health into my own hands, I have become addicted to getting to the root cause of my physical and mental health.

I know what it’s like to be in a constant state of depression, anxiety, fatigue and hopelessness. Trying all the new food and exercise fads, seeing countless therapists and doctors and still struggling to find solutions. I know what it’s like to feel lost in your own body - but you don’t have to be!

No one knows your body better than you do, my hope is to educate you and empower you to dig deeper than your symptoms.
